Postural Assessment Week 1

The My Mvmnt 12 Week Lifestyle Program was really a lifestyle transformation for me on so many levels. I went into the process thinking it was all fitness based but it was so much more. Narelle guided me through my health and fitness goals from the beginning. However, the coaching side of the program was a real stand out for me.

Aside from gaining toned muscles and improved core strength from the unique DNS techniques, the breathing exercises challenged me on a whole other level. Narelle was there every step of the way to support me through the emotions that arose during this practice. In addition, the identification of my core values assured me I was on the right track with my daily choices and decisions. The nutritionist appointments were an added bonus that assisted me with my diet to support the training and my overall health.

I did the program whilst I was completing my Psychology Thesis which was a stressful time for me. Narelle’s support throughout this time unquestionably got me through the process and assisted me in achieving my goal. With Narelle’s guidance on health, fitness and emotional management I became calmer and more focused.

Postural Assessment Week 5

The morning sessions always set the course for a centred and grounded approach to my day and the homework programs became my “me time” and something I looked forward to every evening.

I found this program at a perfect time in my life when I was looking to make some changes. I gained so much knowledge and insight into myself as a person throughout the process. Ultimately though, I realised I mostly looked forward to seeing Narelle each week. Due to her extensive fitness knowledge, the training really takes you to another level. However, it is her ability to be accepting on all levels and to talk about absolutely anything that’s on your mind that sets her apart.

It was a joy to be a part of the program and I look forward to continuing personal coaching with Narelle in the future!

Together we got clear on my goals and methodically worked towards them, with re-assessment throughout the program to show how far I had come, physically.

Emotionally (because, let’s face it, emotions surface when working so in-depth with the body) Naz holds the space in the most compassionate and grounded way, where I felt supported on every level.

A fresh motivation spilled out into every area of my life beyond the sessions. With guidance from the nutritionist, I was able to bring balance back to my diet, and became clear on my values during the sessions with Naz, which brought clarity to the “why” in the everyday choices I make, that are ultimately, best for me.

Choose this program as an act of self-love. Not only for your physical health, but for every other part of you that wants you to live a full and vibrant life.

Practicing Pilates with Narelle changed me from someone who scoffed at people who claimed to “enjoy” exercising, to someone who religiously went to her classes six or seven days a week. Before starting Pilates with Narelle my body was feeling 20+ years older than it should have. My muscles were so extremely tight, I had little mobility in my joints and I had ongoing pain. My years of the gym and sport had really taken a toll on my body in a negative way. I was nervous to start something new like Pilates, (especially as I couldn’t even touch my toes) but as soon as I met Narelle I felt instantly comfortable. Her way of teaching invested me in the practice. I felt completely confident that she was always ensuring I was doing each movement and series correctly, and in a way that would most benefit my body and target those ongoing issues. Just after a few months, I have seen such a difference in my muscles and mobility, (I can now touch my toes) as well as also having a major decrease in the pain that I have been dealing with for years. I’ve been doing Pilates now for about 15 months. I had been doing Yoga for about 6 months prior and met Narelle just before a Yoga class. She was supportive and encouraged me to try a Pilates class at some point. The next week I booked my very first class with her… all I can say was, I was hooked! I not only felt welcomed and comfortable, but felt like I’d had a great all over body work out and it was very well instructed through every position. I increased my classes from 1 to 4 per week, and the physical and mental changes were mind blowing, and I’m sure rewarding for Narelle seeing her results as an instructor. I’ve loved watching my body change over this time, in becoming a body that I’m actually proud of. I could see my waistline taking shape, my legs strengthening and more definition in my arms. Narelle’s Pilates classes have benefited me both physically and mentally.
